Job Description:

Role purpose:

He will be expected to work in partnership with both current and potential customers to create and implement effective solutions; to improve availability and reliability of their applications and its infrastructure.

Kick off meeting with the customer to determine the technical scope

Keep the good relationship with the customer and be on call and on demand

Design the technical implementation documents after the kickoff meeting

Propose the technical high level steps of the implementation and configuration to the customer

Implement and configure technical solution to the customer

Validate the implementation and test the solution

Design and write documentation after the project to clarify the implementation

Provide orientation for the installation to the customer

Sign off the acceptance criteria before closing the project

Fast learning and self-learning

Troubleshooting for the technical issues

Ability to support customers in technical tasks

Ability to deliver the projects on date

Ability to design and implement POC for the customer

Ability to work with vendor online Demo and POCs

 

Qualifications:

Technical:

Configure and implement VMware vSphere ESXi including HA, DRS, VDP, vMotion, SvMotion

Design the best practice for VMware vSphere including VSS, VDS, HA with hardware vendor

Design, Configure and implement VMware Horizon View including VDI types, Application presentation, application virtualization, application and desktop delivery, user environment manager, identity manager, connection server, security server

EUC solution HA design and implementation

EUC integration with Microsoft products such RDS, ADDC, group policy and integration with other AAA servers and SSO

Airwatch design, implement on premises and on VMware cloud including AW servers and publishing over internet and configure policies and ability to determine the compliance for devices

Configure and manage VMware VSAN (preferred)

Configure and manage VMware vRealize Suite (preferred)

Configure and manage VMware NSX (preferred)

Design and deploy Microsoft ADDC, windows server, ADDC HA, DNS, DHCP, IIS, SQL

Design and deploy rackmount and blade servers

Good technical knowledge in storage systems including storage protocols, connectivity, LUNs, storage groups, SAN, NAS, storage features, paths, troubleshooting, data stores, performance analysis.

Preferred to have a knowledge for implementing Cisco HyperFlex, dellEMC Vxrail, VSAN ready nodes

Highly motivated and results oriented with focus on meeting customer requirements and delivering quality proposals on schedule

Job Description

 

role purpose

  • To develop solutions for the customers with the right balance between quality and cosr to meet customer business requirements.
  • The process starts with the collection and analysis of all pertinent data essential to understanding customer requirements.
  • The role takes responsibility for solution design inclusive of the underlying technical architecture, service level agreements, overall solution costing, delivery planning and representation of that solution as required.
  • Customer facing activities such as customer presentations and negotiation in conjunction with the account manager/sales is expected.
  • The role takes responsibility of the end-to-end presales process technically and support the commercial process.
  • Provide presales design support for both new and existing customers
  • Perform feasibility studies and interviews on customer sites in order obtain all pertinent information concerning customer equipment and requirements for correct proposals and when sold, for the actual implementation.

 

Presales responsibilities and experiences

  • capabilities (Design, implement, manage),
  • opportunity validation for the customer requirements (realistic requirement, technical)
  • Context of the project, political alignment and compelling event.
  • Ability to design RFP/RFI/RFQ
  • Support sales in positioning billable consulting work to customers when such services will facilitate progression towards or closure
  • Develop technical and general skills towards the consultancy level and be updated on the latest technologies in order to be a strategic partner for customers.
  • Use this knowledge to design commercially and technically viable solutions to smart system; particularly for complex customer requirements.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the external tools that are required in conjunction with internal tools, systems and processes in order to develop quality / approved technical proposals to customers.
  • Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge of all smart system portfolio, services and solutions sets
  • Ability to interface with customers as required during any stage of the customer lifecycle and effectively articulate the smart system value proposition
  • Actively participate in the tendering process and development of proposals in line with customer needs, liaising with other colleagues as necessary. Present proposal to internal communities as required as well as to customers. Support the development of customer SLAs and Service Delivery Kits.
  • Ability to use vendor configurator including Cisco, dell, EMC, Netapp, Veeam, VMware,..
  • Design of compliance sheet, acceptance test, project plan, project time plan.
  • Deal registration and opportunity reservation for each vendor
  • General and primary discounts for each vendor.

 

 

Qualifications

Technical

Excellent understanding of data center business and technology inclusive of solution justification

Excellent data center technical architecture knowledge (VMware and Cisco certification is desirable)

Expertise in high level design and solution description

Knowledge how to sell the products in technical and financial sides

Knowledge of licensing type and product family for each vendor and levels of support per vendor

Proven track record in technical leadership for complex project (design and/or implementation)

Ability and knowledge to compare products in the same area and compare the pros and cons

Provide the solutions according to smart system portfolio and products and partnership level

Presales experience at least 3 years in the following fields and technologies:

  • VMware portfolio (vSphere, VSAN, NSX, Horizon view, Horizon App, WS1, AW, Pivotal cloud, App defense, integration for other product, sizing mechanism,  ..etc.)
  • servers (cisco, dell, fujitsu)
  • storage (EMC, Netapp), SAN, NAS
  • DC networking (LAN, SAN)
  • HCI (Cisco, Dell, Nutanix, VSAN RN)
  • Backup solutions (Veeam, veritas, dell)
  • Microsoft licensing and products

Business

A relevant degree in data center private cloud field is expected

Fluent in English (speaking, writing, reading, listening)

Strong and proven service delivery in data center solutions.

Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (Visio, Project, Word, PowerPoint and excel) in client consulting or presales engagements is required

Excellent writing and delivery of high finishing quality documents
