Servers
Servers provide an organizations’ applications with the computing power required to process and run. Servers can be either blade or rack mount servers, and they serve different purposes like receiving, sending and storing data to facilitate computation.
Data Center Switches
Data Center switches connects servers to each other and to the network as well. They organize and forward traffic between servers and the network and prevent traffic to interfere with other devices’ traffic.
Storage
Storage devices including disk arrays and tape libraries are responsible for storing an organizations’ data.
SAN Switches
SAN Switches are responsible for connecting servers with shared pools of storage and directing traffic between them.
Hyper-converged Infrastructure (HCI)
Hyper-converged Infrastructure is a software system that provides all data center elements and components such as compute, storage, networking and management simultaneously in one solution, allowing for a less complex network and reduced costs, space and required personnel.
